Please Shovel Hydrant Near Your Home |
|
The McAdoo Fire Company is reminding residents to dig out any nearby hydrants that are covered by snow. Although firefighters have been out shoveling around some of the hydrants after the recent storms, it's difficult for them to get to all of them. The Fire Company needs the public's help. If firefighters have to search for and shovel out the hydrant, the delay could result in raising the risk of injury or death and possibly result in additional property damage. So please make sure the hydrant near your home or business is shoveled out. The fire hydrant should be cleared about 2 to 3 feet on either side. The life or property you save may be your own. |
